Their mission is to help people discover, preserve, and connect family history. This means the integrity, availability and performance of their infrastructure are non-negotiable.
With continuous indexing of digitized records at a massive scale and a user base that spans every continent, their engineering team needs a seasoned SRE who can strengthen observability, drive automation, and keep systems running reliably under significant load.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join a mature engineering team and take ownership of Dynatrace-based observability and automation. You will design and implement automated configurations, consume and integrate REST APIs, and write TypeScript-based tooling to support platform reliability at scale.
What You Need to Succeed in This Role
Solid experience automating Datadog or Dynatrace configuration at scale.
Strong hands-on experience consuming REST APIs, particularly Dynatrace APIs.
Proficiency in TypeScript for tooling and automation development.
Strong understanding of SRE principles: reliability, observability, incident response, and automation.
Experience working in fast-paced engineering environments with high ownership expectations.
Nice to Have
Experience with AWS Lambda for serverless automation workflows.
Familiarity with AWS CodeBuild for CI/CD pipeline management.
Experience with AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
