Job Summary
As a Senior SQL Developer (16120), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to support application and business requirements
- Maintain and improve existing SQL code and database performance through query tuning and indexing strategies
- Work closely with data analysts, application developers, and business teams to understand data needs and deliver efficient solutions
- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading across multiple systems
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
- Professional/ Advanced English skills.
- +5 years of experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries, views, functions, and stored procedures.
- Experience with major RDBMS platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, and indexing.
- Experience with performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and troubleshooting slow-running queries.
- Familiarity with ETL tools such as SSIS, Talend, or custom scripting for data migration.
