The Position
This role leads the development of pricing models, reporting and analytical tools in support of Organon’s pricing strategy and operations across the entire portfolio of products. The role delivers insightful pricing business analysis and operates as a resource for gathering data and producing insights meant to provide business leaders with ongoing actionable recommendations.
The Senior Specialist’s responsibilities will be for the Women’s Health, Biosimilars, Medical Devic and Diversified brands which will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Responsibilities

Develop business analysis and reporting required to create pricing strategies that ensure an optimal balance of revenue, volume, margin and access across the full product, channel, and market portfolio.

Monitor and analyze pricing metrics including year-over-year price variance by brand, price positioning, price waterfalls.

Develop and maintain pricing models to evaluate pricing strategy options and recommendations and support analysis as the result of pricing research.

Partner with Finance and US Pricing Lead in the development of the annual price plan, analysis of price KPI’s, and development of ongoing gross to net price analysis.

Facilitates approvals for price proposals and ensures that pricing strategies and initiatives are consistent with overall our Company's pricing policies and procedures, including legal considerations.

Provide analytic pricing support to establish the strategy of new products.

Reviews the Grant of Authority to ensure compliance with approver rights.

Maintains the Compendium of Price Authority to ensure it remains in alignment with approved pricing proposals.

Supports the WAC Price Change Price implementation process which includes documentation, mobilizing personnel and communicating the price change to internal and external personnel.

Supports the WAC price implementation for new product launches and ensure pricing agencies and customers are notified.

Maintain price history repository and database.

Update and maintain the US product price catalog.

Support pricing actions for Puerto Rico as consistent with US authority.

Partner with regulatory and legal to ensure on-going compliance with state price transparency reporting requirements.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
-
Bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience OR an MBA with at least one year experience in one or more of the following areas: Finance, Analytics, Marketing, Market Research, Contracting, Government Pricing.

Experience participating in cross-functional teams.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytic background.

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

10% Travel.
Preferred Experience and Skills
-
Experience with Finance and/or Analytics.

Experience with pricing, contracting or reimbursement in US.

Experience in sales and/or marketing analytics.

Must work well with broad ranges of management, from Global Pricing, Business Unit Leaders, Contracting, Finance, Marketing, Regulatory and Access Leaders.

The applicable salary range for this position in the U.S. is stated below. Benefits offered in the U.S. include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation and holiday time, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
Annualized Salary Range (US)
$101,900.00 - $173,300.00
