 Your mission

You will be part of the Third-Party Risk Management team. You support in implementing, maintaining and operating Bitpanda’s third-party risk management strategy and framework. As part of your remit, you will interact with various stakeholders within the Bitpanda Group and externally, for Bitpanda’s regulated German entity.

You will oversee and monitor third party risk in accordance with the regulatory requirements across multiple regulated entities within the Bitpanda Group. Responsibilities will include ensuring agreements, SLA's, KRIs, KPI’s and other metrics are in place to manage third-parties against the respective regulatory requirements. The role will also include reviewing and analysing documentation, preparation of reports, development of Management Information  and providing support on the assessment of new third party services.

The role will report to the VP Risk & Compliance and will be part of the Third Party Risk Management Team. You will work closely with internal stakeholders such as Risk, Legal, Compliance, Data Protection, and Technology. And interact with external stakeholders.


What you’ll do
  • Continuous development of Bitpanda’s third-party risk management framework including, documentation, assessments, systems and tools implemented across the Group. 
  • Provide ‘second-line’ review and challenge of third parties with both internal and external counterparties, helping implement SLAs, KRI’s and other monitoring.
  • Ensure continuous updates to our third-party profile as well as registers in alignment with regulatory requirements (EBA, DORA).
  • Ensure adherence of the Third–Party Risk lifecycle, rom Identification and assessment to monitoring and exit planning.
  • Support in trainings, as appropriate, to business partners on Third Party Risk Management framework, policies, standards, processes, procedures and alignment with interconnected processes.

Who you are
  • Experience and knowledge and understanding of Third Party Risk Management including DORA, MaRisk, EBA Outsourcing, PRA SS2/21 and other regulatory equivalents. 
  • Experience in operating third party risk frameworks.
  • Experience in managing third parties over the whole lifecylce, developing Service Level Agreements (SLA) aligned with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication in German and English, proven ability to effectively interact with team members, clients and peers, earning their trust and establishing credibility
  • Minimum of 4+ years focused expertise in Third Party Risk and managing Outsourcing Services.

Skills Required
