Join us as a Senior Specialist System and Data Analyst and drive impactful change across a global matrix environment.
You’ll connect teams, integrate systems, and curate data to empower decision-making for Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) and Resource Management groups.
You will leverage technical expertise and strategic insight, to enable capacity planning, automate processes, and develop actionable analytics—including interactive dashboards and AI models—to optimize resource management and business outcomes
Key Responsibilities
Systems & Data Integration
- Integrate multiple data sources and systems (e.g., Workday, Beeline, Whitepages, eTime, SuccessFactors, eReq, Planisware) to enable robust, comprehensive reporting and analytics.
- Manage and maintain role-based metadata and ensure alignment across resource management platforms.
Advanced Analytics & Reporting
- Pull, analyze, and generate monthly capacity and requisition reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights for Functional Leaders, Resource Managers, and Line Managers.
- Curate and prepare datasets for AI model development supporting resource management decisions.
- Utilize analytics tools (Excel, SQL, Python, dashboarding tools) to drive functional BOW and dashboard insights.
System Support & Continuous Improvement
- Manage Staffing Database (SDB), eReq, and Service Activity Forms (SAF) tools, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) for releases and enhancements.
- Collaborate with SDB Tech Team and Sr Manager Business Systems to resolve technical issues and drive process improvements.
- Ensure data quality by resolving SDB Cognos queries and delivering reliable MEC capacity data for each function.
- Collaborate with Resource Modeling Specialist to enhance end to end process of demand forecasting.
Collaboration & Innovation
- Partner with R&D, Finance, IT, and Learning Teams to support role-based changes, maintain learning assignments, and enhance data-driven strategies.
- Identify and implement best practices for process improvement and resource management.
- Monitor industry trends and innovations, supporting the adoption of new technology solutions and agile methodologies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Undergraduate (BA/BS) degree in life or physical sciences, required
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field, preferred
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in analytics within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
- At least 1 year of experience in resource management in pharma/biotech, preferred.
Skills & Competence
- Technical fluency in project management and resource management tools (Planisware preferred).
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, R, and dashboarding/business intelligence tools.
- Ability to translate data-driven insights into actionable plans and narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Understanding of project, portfolio, resource, cost, and budget management.

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.
