As a Senior Specialist - Program Management, you will be responsible for providing customer support services, sourcing, quotations and warehouse logistics to ensure assigned programs exceed customer expectations. You will develop and maintain vendor relationships, partnering with internal functions on contracts and contract compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Sources materials, making pricing decisions per the contract, in partnership with sales and operations teams.
- Collaboration with on-site engineering, purchasing on the customer side, vendors, and outside sales to ensure materials are quoted accurately. Responsible for developing responses to complex or high-value inquiries.
- Manages customer owned inventory, ensuring shipment before new inventory is brought in.
- Plans, implements, and controls the flow of orders to warehouses, interacting with warehouse leaders for assigned program business to ensure shipments are out the door timely.
- Provide quarterly pricing for contract business, validate expiration of SPAs for program business, working with vendors to quote customers.
- Manages batches of orders by ensuring customer data is received in internal systems, and accurately drops order to the warehouse for shipping.
- Post order support to customer by expediting material with vendors to ensure on time delivery of product.
- Manages bill of materials for customers.
- Contributes and executes ideas for improving departmental efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 4-7 years program management experience or related experience in supporting large programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong persuasion and skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
