The Role:
The Production Planner is responsible for developing and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient, on-time, and high-quality manufacturing. This role works closely with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Logistics, Sales, BU and Production to ensure smooth operations and meet customer demand.
In this role you will:
Production Scheduling & Planning
Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on forecasts and sales orders
Optimize production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources, including labor, machinery, and materials.
Adjust production plans as needed to accommodate changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or machine downtime.
Inventory Management
Monitor semi-finished and finished goods inventory levels to minimize waste and prevent stockouts.
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock records.
Cross-functional Coordination
Partner closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow.
Coordinate with the logistics team to schedule shipments and manage lead times.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on production status, delays, or changes.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Monitor and analyze key metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Generate regular reports on production efficiency, resource utilization, and output levels.
Utilize data to recommend and implement process improvements that enhance productivity.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce costs.
Ensure all production activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to implement innovative production planning strategies.

Qualifications (Education, Training, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Physical Requirements): Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Point)
Language skill: English, Korean
