Overview
As a member of the Asia Pacific Consumer Credit team within the Core Payments family, you will be supporting the Consumer Products & Processing team, assisting in the development and ongoing management of new product value propositions, including helping in the development of the product strategy and positioning, executing the logistics of delivering new benefits to strengthen the product value, in line with the regional and divisional/country business strategies, as well as delivering end-to-end product management.
As Senior Specialist, you will need to work with a high degree of independence and full accountability, supporting the Consumer Products & Processing team and be responsible for managing benefits that support our card value proposition end-to-end, including but not limited to vendor management, marketing and communication, customer experience and reporting etc. Additionally, you will also be responsible for supporting any new product development opportunities, and initiatives aligned to global, regional, divisional, and market strategies.
Role
• Continuously refresh and enhance product propositions to ensure Mastercard products remain competitive and compelling, including analyzing revenue opportunities, identifying gaps, and recommending solutions to address challenges within the product suite.• Analyze revenue opportunities, portfolio gaps, and market dynamics to develop data driven recommendations that address performance, customer needs, and issuer objectives.• Engage and influence regional and in-market stakeholders to identify market opportunities, drive operational efficiencies, and address pain points through structured stakeholder feedback.• Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to inform and support go-to-market strategies.• Track program launches and issuer benefit communications to support a robust, efficient, and well-managed sales pipeline.• Ensure issuer product propositions align with platform constructs, and manage the end-to-end process of activating benefits with issuers for successful market launch.• Manage the end-to-end customer journey, partnering closely with Account Managers and Mastercard call centers to ensure a seamless and satisfactory experience across all benefits.• Deliver training on platform benefits to the Product Management / Sales & Account teams, ensuring timely & accurate dissemination of information to strengthen sales enablement.• Provide support and guidance on product decisions to ensure ongoing adherence to Mastercard franchise rules and standards.

• Demonstrated strength in product development and lifecycle management, with the ability to independently drive initiatives from concept through execution and optimization• Strong product development and delivery capabilities, with proven experience in project management, problem-solving, planning, execution follow-through, and organizational excellence• Relevant industry experience, preferably within payments or financial services• Highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and successfully multitask across parallel initiatives• Thrives in a cross-functional environment, demonstrating strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups• Proven ability to manage and oversee multiple projects across functions and initiatives concurrently, maintaining momentum and delivery discipline• Exposure to Operations, Marketing and / or Finance functions preferred • Strong written and verbal communication & presentation skills, with ability to pay attention to details
