Common Accountabilities
- Demonstrates strong working experience and advanced functional knowledge within the People & Culture / People Partner domain.
- Understands how the People & Culture function contributes to business priorities and organizational outcomes.
- Serves as a point of reference for colleagues with less experience and provides guidance to junior team members.
- Influences decisions within the scope of responsibility by anticipating dependencies, assessing risks, and contributing effectively to cross‑functional projects.
- Identifies opportunities to streamline processes, improve employee experience, and strengthen operational efficiencies.
- Works independently within the plan defined by the manager, seeking guidance only in complex or sensitive situations.
Key Functional Accountabilities
HR Operations & Transactions
- Lead and execute end-to-end HR operational activities including employee lifecycle management, Workday transactions, HR documentation, and compliance processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely HRIS updates (preferably Workday or similar platforms) and maintain high standards of data integrity.
- Support creation of BU-level presentations, insights, and updates in PowerPoint for leadership reviews and people discussions.
- Drive standardization of processes and ensure adherence to internal policies and audit requirements.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, providing clear guidance on policies, workplace concerns, and HR practices.
- Demonstrate strong listening and communication skills to understand and resolve employee grievances with empathy.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and ensure proper documentation, follow‑through, confidentiality, and timely closure of cases.
- Partner closely with business leaders to provide insights on workforce trends, employee health metrics, retention risks, and engagement drivers.
- Strengthen employee experience by reinforcing Amadeus values and driving culture-building initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of progressive experience in HR operations, HR partnering, or people services roles.
- Strong experience with HRIS systems such as Workday (or similar tools) for transactions, reporting, and case management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivots, reporting) and PowerPoint (storytelling, visual presentation, data summarization).
- Excellent communication skills—written and verbal—with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to support a business unit of ~500 employees independently.
- High levels of empathy, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling employee concerns.
- Proven ability to manage operations with attention to detail, accuracy, and timelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed, global environment with strong ownership and problem-solving skills.
