Role purpose
As Specialist - HR Information Systems at Accelya, you will support, maintain and enhance our Workday platform, helping to deliver reliable HR processes, effective system configuration and practical solutions for the business.
This role offers the opportunity to build depth across two important Workday areas. You will bring strong hands-on experience in either Workday Recruiting or Talent & Performance, and the curiosity and learning agility to take ownership of the other area through knowledge transfer, training and practical experience. You will also support Core HCM and contribute across other Workday functional areas and business-as-usual activities as priorities evolve.
You will work closely with HR, Talent Acquisition and business stakeholders to deliver Workday enhancements, resolve operational needs, improve user experience and contribute to Accelya's wider HR technology and AI transformation journey.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Act as a Workday functional specialist with strong expertise in either Recruiting or Talent & Performance, while actively developing capability and taking increasing ownership of the other area.
- Provide dependable Core HCM support and contribute to day-to-day Workday operations, issue resolution and other business-as-usual activities as needed.
- Configure, maintain and enhance Workday solutions, ensuring system reliability, data integrity and an excellent user experience.
- Support the design, testing, deployment and documentation of Workday enhancements, new functionality and system releases.
- Partner with HR, TMOD, Talent Acquisition and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
- Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, document templates and analytics outputs that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Support HR data governance, audit activities, compliance requirements and data quality initiatives across the Workday ecosystem.

Required Experience & Skills:
- 4-5 years of hands-on Workday experience is essential.
- Strong practical experience in either Workday Recruiting or Workday Talent & Performance is required.
