Position Overview
The Senior Specialist, End-to-End Master Data is responsible for leading the technology strategy, quality, and operational readiness of enterprise master data supporting PVH's global business processes. As part of the Global SAP-ERP Team, this role serves as the IT leader for enterprise master data, partnering with business and technology teams to ensure critical master data is complete, accurate, and ready to support planning, sourcing, procurement, distribution, retail, and wholesale.
The role provides deep functional and technical expertise across enterprise master data, including articles, vendors, factories, stores, locations, costs, pricing, and other foundational business data. Working across SAP, PLM, MDM, PIM, and other enterprise applications, this individual will drive data readiness, support global transformation initiatives, improve data quality, and eliminate downstream business process issues caused by incomplete or inaccurate master data.
This position is based in Bangalore, India, and partners with global business and IT teams across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Master Data Strategy & Leadership
- Serve as the IT subject matter expert for enterprise master data across PVH's global application landscape.
- Define technology solutions and best practices that improve the quality, consistency, and operational readiness of enterprise master data.
- Partner with Product Creation, Merchandising, Planning, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Enterprise Data Governance teams to support business priorities.
- Provide technology leadership for enterprise master data initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities.
End-to-End Master Data Solutions
- Lead the analysis and resolution of complex master data issues spanning SAP, PLM, MDM, PIM, and related enterprise applications.
- Ensure enterprise master data is validated and production-ready before supporting critical business processes.
- Define and implement automated validation processes and readiness checks to improve data quality.
- Identify opportunities to improve system integrations, business processes, and data quality across the application landscape.
Global Program Delivery
- Support global ERP projects and transformation initiatives.
- Lead master data activities for system deployments, mock conversions, cutovers, and production readiness.
- Review and validate enterprise master data mappings, conversions, and integration requirements.
- Provide guidance to project teams on enterprise master data design, business rules, and system impacts.
Operational Excellence
- Analyze enterprise master data across articles, vendors, factories, stores, locations, pricing, costs, and other business domains.
- Identify recurring data quality issues and drive root cause resolution with business and IT partners.
- Develop reporting, metrics, documentation, and best practices that improve enterprise data quality and operational performance.
- Support the identification and validation of enterprise golden data.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Build strong partnerships across business functions and technology teams to improve enterprise master data capabilities.
- Collaborate with Application, Development, Architecture, Integration, and Data teams to deliver scalable and sustainable solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on enterprise master data impacts, dependencies, and business process considerations.
- Influence global stakeholders to drive standardization and adoption of enterprise master data best practices.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience implementing or supporting enterprise applications within retail, apparel, fashion, or consumer products.
- Strong experience with SAP master data and integration with PLM, MDM, PIM, and other enterprise applications.
- Deep understanding of enterprise master data domains including articles, vendors, factories, stores, locations, costs, pricing, and related business data.
- Experience supporting ERP projects, enterprise integrations, or global transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of apparel product lifecycle processes and enterprise master data concepts.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional global teams.
- Bachelor's degree required.
