Job Summary

The Senior Specialist, Compliance supports the Compliance function by carrying out day-to-day operational compliance activities, including screening and monitoring, maintaining compliance registers, tracking remediation actions, and supporting implementation of internal compliance reports/registers. The role is focused on reliable execution, accurate recordkeeping, timely follow-up, and escalation of issues where required, while contributing to a culture of ethics and integrity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Policy and Procedures Support: Support the review, update, dissemination, and tracking of policies, procedures, and compliance/risk operations and assessments. Assist with monitoring key policy areas such as gifts and hospitality, conflicts, related party transactions, personal account dealing, and insider trading, including maintaining supporting records and reporting.

• Screening and Monitoring: Perform screening, monitoring, and tracking of vendors, customers, and other relevant third parties in conjunction with the onboarding teams. Maintain clear records of screening outcomes, follow up on required information, performing periodic monitoring along with escalation of higher-risk matches or unresolved items in line with internal procedures.
• Risk Assessment: Support compliance risk assessments projects to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions. Maintain compliance risk assessments/dashboards.
• Regulatory/Requirements Monitoring: Track and analyze new and evolving local and international laws and regulations affecting the business. Support affected business units in implementation of such key requirements across relevant jurisdictions
• Training: Support compliance training development for employees and management. Carry out periodic training for key policies (e.g. annual Conflicts of Interest training and attestations) and tracking for completion.
• Incident Management: Investigate compliance breaches, handle whistleblower reports, and maintaining audit trails and mitigation follow-up.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: A recognized bachelor’s degree in business, finance, auditing, law or a related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years of progressive experience in corporate compliance, operational/business risk management or audit roles.
• Skills: Superior analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication abilities, organized and able to manage multiple priorities. High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
