Job Description:

The Senior Specialist, Cast Engagement supports the planning and delivery of Cast Engagement initiatives that enhance Cast experience across Hong Kong Disneyland. The role partners closely with the Manager, Cast Engagement to bring initiatives from ideation to execution, while coordinating stakeholders and developing engaging communications and recaps that connect and inspire Cast Members.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Program delivery & Execution – Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of assigned Cast Engagement initiatives, including locally developed and global programs. Manage assigned workstreams from concept development through implementation, proactively identifying solutions, managing risks, and recommending approaches that support successful program outcomes.

2. Stakeholder Coordination – Build effective partnerships with Lines of Business (LOBs), HR functional teams, communications partners, representative groups, and other stakeholders. Align objectives, facilitate collaboration, and maintain stakeholder engagement to support the successful implementation of initiatives across the resort.

3. Content Development & Storytelling – Develop compelling communications, presentations, event recaps, and multimedia content that showcase Cast Engagement initiatives, celebrate Cast stories, and strengthen connections with Cast Members. Translate program outcomes and feedback into meaningful narratives that enhance engagement and visibility.

4. Idea Generation & Continuous Improvement – Leverage feedback, engagement data, Employee Experience Survey results, workforce insights, benchmarking of engagement practices across Disney Parks and Resorts, and AI-enabled solutions to identify opportunities and recommend enhancements to Cast Engagement programs. Proactively introduce innovative ideas and best practices that elevate the Cast experience and drive continuous improvement across HKDL.

5. Operational Excellence – Manage project timelines, budgets, logistics, and vendor relationships while ensuring appropriate governance, compliance, and effective resource utilization. Maintain a high standard of quality and professionalism across all assigned initiatives.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 – 8 years of relevant experience in event planning, project management, employee engagement, communications, marketing, or HR-related functions.

  • Strong organization, coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proactive, collaborative, creative, and solution-oriented, with the ability to take ownership within scope and contribute ideas in planning discussions.

  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AI-enabled solutions. Experience with graphic design and video editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Illustrator is an advantage.

  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior position.
