Mobileye is looking for a hands-on Senior SOTIF Analyst to join the team developing a novel approach to validating the safety of autonomous vehicles.
Demonstrating the safety of autonomous vehicle systems is one of the most challenging problems at the frontier of technology. It requires a deep end-to-end understanding of the AV system, rigorous technical analysis, and the ability to translate safety challenges into measurable KPIs, practical tools, and scalable methodologies.
In this role, you will work closely with R&D, Validation, customers, and industry stakeholders to shape and advance Mobileye’s SOTIF approach and support its broad acceptance across the automotive industry.
What will your job look like?
- Lead the design & development SOTIF (Safety Of The Intended Functionality) concept and KPIs for AV systems.
- Work closely with R&D and validation on bringing our concepts to reality.
- Initiate new methods and tools to support the safety analysis of the AV system.
- Hands-on development of tools, analysis and solutions together with an Agile team.
- Identify potential safety risks , such as driver behavior, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Develop and implement SOTIF requirements and guidelines for the design, development, and testing of systems.
- Work with the automotive industry to get to a wide acceptance of our methodology.
- Work closely with customers and regulators on SOTIF related aspects.
All you need is:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in development or product management of SW\systems.
- Significant experience in building technical solutions with AI.
- Skills in Python or other scripting language.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Knowledge in statistical modeling and DOE.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify SOTIF risks and develop solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to meet SOTIF-related deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of SOTIF concepts and standards, such as ISO/PAS 21448 and UL 4600.
- Expertise in safety-critical system design and development processes.
- Familiarity with safety analysis methods, such as hazard analysis and risk assessment.
- Strong coding skills.
- Statistics tools experience and skills
