Your Impact
As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be a technical leader in driving growth and adoption of Splunk solutions with enterprise customers. You will:
- Demonstrate and evangelize Splunk products and services through onsite sessions, webinars, and field events.
- Lead discovery calls and conversations to identify and validate opportunities, independently or with your sales counterpart.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and partners throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
- Conduct on-site customer engagements, including Proof of Value/Concept demonstrations, workshops, etc..
- Address complex technical inquiries, provide guidance and resolve customer concerns to ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve working practices, processes, and customer success.
- Evangelize Splunk value & capabilities at user groups, marketing/industry events, etc..
- Work in a highly collaborative Team environment, building the skills & knowledge to support your customers & peers
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in enterprise presales, ideally 5+ years, with a technical focus.
- Ability to understand complex application environments and machine data sources (logs, security data, network data, etc.).
- Experience in observability solutions (Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless, etc..) and/or Security solutions (SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability detection, etc..)
- Strong ability to articulate complex technical solutions to customers and partners.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value and improve processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on knowledge of Splunk solutions and experience demonstrating their value to enterprise customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Working knowledge of AI concepts & practical adoption of AI capabilities
- Familiarity with open-source technologies, search engines, and query languages.
