The Challenge

We’re looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer who will report to the Solutions Engineering Manager. In this role, you will drive business development and sales growth by providing technical expertise, competitive positioning, and product evaluation support to prospective customers for the OneTrust Data Privacy Compliance platform.

Your Mission

  • Serve as technical expert during major sales opportunities, including the preparation and delivery of proposals, RFPs and custom proof-of-concepts evaluations to demonstrate OneTrust’s capabilities to meet client objectives.

  • Be instrumental in technical deep-dive discussions to architect integrations and advise customers on best practices.

  • Support Sales teams with client meetings, presentations, and solution design options.

  • Partner with internal R&D to stay current on product capabilities and future direction, and with technical customer teams and partners to support their business needs and requirements.

  • Conduct custom proof-of-concepts evaluations to demonstrate OneTrust’s capabilities to meet client objectives.

  • Drive Sales and Marketing efforts in the production of high-quality sales proposals and supporting assets.

  • Maintain all sales cycle activities within the Salesforce.com CRM system.

You Are

You have a clear understanding of the privacy industry, including the regulatory environment, and use that knowledge to support the role’s core responsibilities. You stay current on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs.

Your Experience Includes
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience, ideally in the technology industry and/or an enterprise cloud-based software company.

  • Expertise selling, configuring and delivering software demonstrations.

  • Expertise with implementing software products or solutions to enterprise companies.

  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JavaScript, FreeMarker, HTML and CSS.

  • Advanced knowledge of web applications, SaaS architecture, cloud computing and programming.

  • Ability to build relationships across stakeholders in R&D, marketing, sales and engineering.

  • Strong entrepreneurial skills to excel in a complex and rapidly evolving environment.

  • Willingness to travel, as required (estimated 25%).
