About this team:

The Account Director is responsible for managing strategic demand-side relationships with agency holdcos in Spain, this role will represent Magnite inventory across all formats/devices and drive revenue through programmatic direct deals across their patch. By selling premium programmatic deals (Curated Marketplaces and Auction Packages) for inventory packages across display, video, audio, CTV and native and technological advertiser solutions to make the supply chain more transparent.

In this role you will:  

  • Build, manage and understand strategic relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and buyers across the programmatic ecosystem, including agency holding companies, publishers and other third-party organisations

  • Work closely with internal teams (media planning, client services and product) to lead projects and deliver revenue performance for Magnite’s publisher partners through the ongoing management of agencies

  • Coordinate with internal groups to launch new campaigns, troubleshoot existing ones, and conduct daily monitoring of existing technological projects

  • Demonstrate a strong growth mindset and fully own your book of business by focusing on building new business opportunities, selling to clients at all levels, and upselling/cross-selling existing campaigns and deals

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit customer feedback to improve service

  • Provide training and support to buyers based within your regions on the full buyer portfolio

  • Evaluate the rapidly evolving ad tech ecosystem for new ideas/opportunities to guide the company's business strategy and growth

We’re looking for someone with: 

  • At least 5 years of experience in online advertising. Ideally from an ad network, trading desk, publisher, agency or advertising technology platform

  • A detailed understanding of online advertising dynamics and campaign planning & buying.

  • A deep understanding and passion for industry trends and  technological solutions for buyers

  • Experience in sales account management

  • Strong analytical skills including ability to spot trends in large data sets

  • Ability to learn fast and adapt to a constantly evolving market

  • Motivation to work in a fast-paced, fun environment

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Excellent presentation and  communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Ambition curiosity , high energy and the will to succeed
