Collaboration is fundamental to success in this role. Expect to work closely with cybersecurity, network, applications, and delivery teams, while also providing mentorship to junior architects and engineers when needed—offering leadership without shifting into a full people‑management track.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:
- 10–18 years of experience in solution architecture, cloud/infrastructure design, or enterprise architecture.
- Hands‑on background designing solutions across:
- Data center & virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix)
- Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP, hybrid models)
- Networking & security fundamentals
- Backup/DR, monitoring, and automation
- Strong understanding of multi‑vendor ecosystems (Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, Dell, etc.).
- Proven ability to produce HLDs, LLDs, architectural blueprints, and detailed design artifacts.
- Solid presales experience including workshops, PoCs, client presentations, and RFP responses.
- Ability to articulate business value and technical differentiators in a clear and compelling way.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, especially with senior IT decision‑makers.
- Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, multi‑project environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Highly preferred certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware VCP/VCAP, CCNP/CCDP, TOGAF, or related credentials.
