The Role

NVIDIA is looking for Senior Solutions Architect, NVIS Customer Infrastructure Management to join its NVIDIA Infrastructure Specialist Team. Academic and commercial groups around the world are using NVIDIA products to redefine deep learning and data analytics, and to power data centers. We are building many of the largest and fastest AI/HPC systems in the world! We are looking for someone experienced in working on a dynamic customer focused team that requires excellent communication skills. The Customer Infra Manager is a key member of the NVIS team, responsible for orchestrating and leading client infrastructure initiatives from initiation through post-deployment service. This role ensures seamless coordination between internal teams, customers, and OEMs, driving successful delivery of infrastructure solutions and ongoing customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and coordinate multi-functional teams to deliver customer infrastructure projects, ensuring clear assignment of responsibilities and effective collaboration.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, OEMs, and internal collaborators, facilitating communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Define project requirements and identify vital resources in partnership with relevant teams.

  • Present technical solutions to customers and partners, validating achievements and resolving issues to ensure successful deployments.

  • Analyze customer difficulties and deployment plans, conducting gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and drive resolution.

  • Supervise installation, configuration, and validation of infrastructure, monitoring progress, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring timely delivery.

  • Facilitate handover to support teams and provide ongoing post-deployment service, gathering feedback and driving continuous customer success.

What we need to see:

  • 10+ years of experience in large-scale data center service operations with a focus on infrastructure.

  • BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields.

  • Experience coordinating project activities, interacting with customers, and providing technical solutions.

  • Teamwork and communication skills; ability to work multi-functionally.

  • Understanding of systems within data centers (system level) along with cloud orchestration software and job schedulers, cloud platforms, and supply chain processes.

  • Experience with tools such as SFDC, Wrike, SAP is a plus.

  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills, paired with the capacity to direct complex projects and guide technical teams.

  • Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and their integration with traditional infrastructure is crucial.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Deep familiarity with AI infrastructure and workflows, including training/inference pipelines, MLOps/DevOps tools, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and large-scale system deployments.

  • Knowledge of data center infrastructure operations, including safety, security, environmental controls, and standard operating procedures.

  • Good interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead discussions, influence outcomes, and build positive relationships with both internal and external collaborators.

  • Familiarity with cloud service platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).

  • Certification in project management or cloud technologies.
