About this opportunity:
Join Ericsson as a Solution Integrator managing end-to-end life cycle of IMS network nodes. This pivotal role involves executing software upgrades, migrations, expansions, and decommissioning activities within telecom networks while ensuring service continuity across multi-vendor environments. You will maintain high service quality, adhere to 3GPP standards, and support Ericsson's delivery frameworks. This position requires managing live network activities with minimal service impact, coordinating cross-functional teams, and maintaining compliance with global E+OHS, data security, and privacy standards.
What you will do:
- Plan and execute software upgrades, patches, and hardware replacements for IMS nodes (CSCF, SBC, TAS, DNS/ENUM) with meticulous attention to detail and service continuity.
- Perform node expansions, migrations, and decommissioning in live telecom networks, preparing Network Impact Reports (NIRs) and Methods of Procedures (MOPs) with minimal service disruption.
- Conduct pre- and post-upgrade testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT), Interoperability Testing (IOT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate VoLTE, VoWiFi services.
- Configure and optimize SIP protocols, routing, call flows, and IMS network performance, ensuring KPI adherence and consistency across multi-vendor environments.
- Analyze logs, traces, and signalling flows (SIP/DIAMETER) to troubleshoot integration issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions during LCM execution phases.
- Collaborate with solution architects, design teams, and customers to plan LCM activities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and support technical workshops and pre-LCM planning meetings.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation including LCM activity plans, upgrade runbooks, test reports, and maintain knowledge repositories, SOPs, and best practice guides with proper version control.
The skills you bring:
- Technical Expertise: IMS architecture, 3GPP standards, SIP/DIAMETER protocols, VoLTE/VoWiFi services, and telecom node knowledge (CSCF, TAS, SBC).
- System Skills: Linux/Unix systems, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker, packet core (EPC/5GC) familiarity, and Ericsson IMS product portfolio understanding.
- Troubleshooting & Analysis: Wireshark/signalling analysis, log trace interpretation, and defect resolution capabilities.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, customer-centric service delivery focus, effective cross-functional communication, and ability to work under pressure in tight maintenance windows.
- Automation & Tools: Python/Shell scripting, NFV/SDN exposure, OSS/BSS tools, and network management platform familiarity.
- Project Management: Cost estimation, activity planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement expertise.
