What you will do:
As Senior Solution Architect – OpenBlue (APAC), you will drive technical solutioning and customer engagement for the OpenBlue digital platform across the Asia Pacific region. You will partner closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering and Delivery teams to design digital building solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes in energy efficiency, sustainability, operational excellence and occupant experience.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Smart Buildings and IoT with consultative selling, value engineering and solution architecture capabilities.
How you will do it:Partner with Sales teams to qualify opportunities and develop winning technical strategies
Lead customer discovery workshops to understand business, operational and digital transformation requirements
Design scalable end-to-end OpenBlue solutions leveraging IoT, cloud, analytics, AI and enterprise integrations
Develop solution architectures, technical proposals, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs) and RFP responses
Build business cases, ROI models and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses that quantify customer value
Present solution and value propositions to technical and executive stakeholders
Act as the regional liaison between customers, Sales and Product Management by capturing market requirements, coordinating product feedback and supporting roadmap discussions
Collaborate with Delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation
Develop reusable solution templates, reference architectures and sales enablement assets
Stay current on Smart Building, Energy Management, AI and Digital Building technologies while supporting strategic customer engagements across APAC
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
8+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Technical Pre-Sales or Digital Building solutions
Experience with Smart Buildings, Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS), IoT, Cloud Platforms and Enterprise Integration
Strong understanding of energy management, sustainability and connected building technologies
Experience preparing technical proposals, conducting customer workshops and supporting complex solution sales
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
