We’re looking for an Intermediate to Senior Software QA Engineer to join our Fusion team in Kraków (hybrid model). In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping quality across a functional domain — from defining test strategies and driving automation, to influencing engineering best practices and championing quality within Agile teams.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership, where your work directly impacts how customers design and build real-world products.
ResponsibilitiesActively participate in Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives) to understand requirements, estimate effort, and plan quality activities
Partner with engineers and product managers to continuously improve QA practices and embed quality across the development lifecycle
Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases at UI and API levels, including functional, regression, workflow, and performance testing
Build, maintain, and scale test automation, including API automation
Perform manual and automated testing, selecting the right approach based on risk and value
Identify redundant or high-value test scenarios and proactively drive their automation
Own quality for your area: track risks, communicate quality status, and raise issues early
Investigate issues that may block delivery and collaborate with teams to resolve them
Support customer-reported issues and provide feedback on defects and usability concerns
Take accountability for quality deliverables, timelines, and outcomes
Lead by example: mentor teammates, share knowledge, and help grow a strong quality culture
Act as a quality champion, promoting shared ownership of quality across the team
Mnimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Mid to senior-level experience in software testing, with a strong focus on API testing and automation
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting
Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams (Jira or similar tools preferred)
Basic to solid programming skills (e.g. Java or Python)
Very good English communication skills (written and spoken)
A proactive mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn beyond your current expertise
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team
Preferred qualifications
Experience testing CAD, engineering, or industrial design software (2D/3D, assemblies, mechanical parts)
Exposure to ML/AI-based features or AI-driven applications
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub)
Background in modern Agile development environments
