Senior Software Engineer/Lead
The Wideband Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Operational Management System critical systems is the Common Network Planning Software (CNPS) Enhancement and Sustainment contract. This contract provides a full range of services including program management, system engineering, configuration management, technical manuals, training, and quality assurance services supporting the production, deployment, and lifecycle support of the CNPS. During installation, we will test the integration of new equipment and conduct training at all sites after each installation in addition to providing all spare equipment and parts required to support the initial fielding and depot sparing of the CNPS. We will meet the CNPS applicable cybersecurity requirements in its production and deployment.
This is a hybrid position with some onsite work at Ft. Belvoir, with the possibility of international travel.
Requirements:
- United States Citizen with Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience as Software Engineer with C#, C++, and SQL
- Ability to analyze and optimize SQL code
- Experience with Windows server, PostgreSQL or EnterpriseDB, Microsoft Visual Studio or Visual Code, Cloud Foundry
- Experience with Dell Servers and VMWare Hardware
- Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, and Ansible is a plus.
- CNPS or WSTARS experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related degree.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification is a plus
