Job Description- Lead, mentor, and grow a software engineering team in Hyderabad building modern full-stack AWS applications.
- Provide architectural guidance, enforce engineering standards, and champion GenAI adoption across products and processes.
- Applications include backend (Python/FastAPI) and frontend (React/TypeScript), as well as some Java and Springboot.
- Champion engineering best practices: clean architecture, design patterns, maintainability, test automation, CI/CD, and DevSecOps principles.
- Lead agile ceremonies, drive GenAI integration, and maintain strong 3rd-line support and stakeholder relationships.
- Own end-to-end delivery of multiple strategic AWS applications serving internal customers and regional teams.
- Build trusted partner relationships, hire contractors and employees, apply agile best practices, and embed GenAI capabilities into both the development lifecycle and the products.
- Model Experian's culture, drive GenAI improvement from code generation to product features, and develop engineers into the next generation of technical leaders.
- Responsible for multiple production AWS applications—including a microservices platform, a credit bureau data framework, and a file-processing review portal.
- You will report to the Director of Engineering
- We require you to work from the office two days a week, as we follow a hybrid work model.
- Demonstrate command of modern full-stack and cloud-native architectures (AWS), microservices design, and data engineering patterns (e.g., Scala, EMR).
- Apply GenAI tools in development workflows and articulate a credible vision for promoting AI capabilities into product features.
- This requirement demands you to have 13+ years in software engineering, including you managing engineering teams for 3+ years.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required; Master's. Track record overseeing multiple production systems, hiring engineers and contractors, and delivering in agile, cloud-native environments.
- Teams using Agile methodologies—sprint planning, backlog management, dependency resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Lead with accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with internal customers, regional teams, and partners.
