About the Team:

The Content Platforms Engineering team is responsible for developing a scalable, high-performance infrastructure that powers the entire content delivery pipeline. From the initial onboarding of content to its seamless distribution, we ensure that all content reaches end users reliably and efficiently. Our team collaborates closely with the content and video teams, who handle content acquisition and work with us to process large volumes of raw video through transcoding to optimize it for streaming. • 5+ years of experience with programming languages relevant to distributed systems (e.g., Elixir, Erlang, Golang, Ruby, Scala, Python)
  • Strong knowledge of databases, caching mechanisms, and performance optimization techniques essential for high-availability online services
  • Experience with gRPC/Protocol Buffers, Kubernetes, CDN, and cloud storage technologies
  • In-depth understanding of distributed system architecture, with experience in building scalable, resilient services that support efficient content delivery
