Primary Responsibilities:
- Full Stack Development:
- Build and enhance scalable web applications using AWS
- Integrate AI-driven components such as smart search, personalized recommendations, and conversational interfaces
- Optimize application performance, security, and reliability
- Integrate AI-driven components such as smart search, personalized recommendations, and conversational interfaces
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, responsive, and accessible user experiences
- Continuously experiment with AI-assisted workflows to improve development velocity and code quality
- Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and agile ceremonies
- Mentor peers on best practices for AI-assisted development
- Work within Scrum or Kanban frameworks, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams to deliver incremental value
- Use tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Git to manage work and documentation
- Embrace a test-driven development (TDD) and shift-left testing mindset to ensure quality from the start
- AI Builder Responsibilities:
- Use GenAI tools (Copilot, Claude, Gemini AI) to ideate, prototype, and implement features efficiently
- Apply Vibe coding techniques to maintain clean, expressive, and AI-augmented codebases
- Develop internal tools and scripts using AI to automate repetitive tasks and improve productivity
- Stay current with emerging GenAI trends, tools, and ethical considerations
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in full stack development
- Experience working in Agile teams with a solid understanding of Agile principles and ceremonies
- Solid experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, etc.)
- Proven experience using AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini AI
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM APIs, and AI-enhanced development workflows
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GenAI platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex AI
- Experience building intelligent UI components (e.g., chatbots, smart forms, predictive inputs)
- Exposure to serverless architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of ethical AI practices and data privacy considerations
