Senior Software Engineering Lead - python, API development, devops, observability, react js, cloud
Key Responsibilities
Frontend Development
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive and interactive user interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Translate UI/UX wireframes and design mockups into high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Implement UI/UX best practices to deliver intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly web applications.
- Optimize frontend applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Integrate and support Pindrop authentication, fraud detection, and voice security workflows within frontend experiences.
- Contribute to frontend development efforts as needed to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality.
Backend & API Development
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Python
- Architect secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems aligned with enterprise standards.
- Integrate backend services with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
- Support and integrate Pindrop SDKs and APIs for authentication and fraud detection workflows.
- Assist frontend teams with full-stack integration, debugging, and performance tuning.
Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS)
- Design and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and IAM.
- Integrate application workflows with serverless components such as AWS Lambda.
- Collaborate on infrastructure automation using CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Support migration initiatives from legacy contact center platforms to Amazon Connect.
DevOps, CI/CD & Observability
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Splunk.
- Ensure applications meet best practices for reliability, security, and operational excellence.
Engineering Excellence
- Write clean, efficient, secure, and testable code following industry best practices
- Apply secure coding standards and performance optimization techniques across the stack.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools to improve development efficiency and code quality.
- Collaborate effectively with product, design, platform, and operations teams
Other Qualifications:
* AWS Certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Associate).
* Experience with event-driven architectures (SNS, SQS, EventBridge)

Skills Required
- 7-10 years hands-on full-stack development experience, with 5+ years building cloud-native applications
- Strong backend expertise in Python and designing RESTful APIs/microservices
- Experience with Node.js, Java, or C# for backend development
- Advanced frontend proficiency with JavaScript and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
- Hands-on experience integrating Pindrop solutions, SDKs/APIs, authentication and fraud detection workflows
- Solid understanding of telephony concepts, including SIP trunking and call flows
- Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, VPC, CloudFormation)
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI, CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Splunk)
- Strong knowledge of security best practices including authentication and authorization
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- AWS Certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Associate)
- Experience with event-driven architectures (SNS, SQS, EventBridge)
