What you’ll do at Elekta
At Elekta, we're expanding our Software team in the Neuro business line treatment planning, and we are currently looking for a Senior C++ developer.
We develop Leksell GammaPlan, an integrated treatment planning system for the Leksell Gamma Knife®. By creating efficient, dependable, and high-performance software solutions, your contributions will directly support medical professionals in planning personalised and accurate cancer treatments. Our product is a Linux desktop based system featuring large GUI desktop applications written in C++. Our ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience with relevant systems, as well as some of the following:
- Mathematical modelling of anatomical structures or radiation dosage
- Communication with other hospital equipment
- Cybersecurity
- Maintaining and updating a customised Linux distribution
- Experience in developing medical systems (or other regulated systems) is advantageous but not mandatory.
What you bring:
To succeed in this role, you should enjoy collaborating in an Agile team environment and be comfortable discussing, presenting, reviewing, and validating your work and that of your team before it reaches end users. We collaborate closely with multiple other teams and departments within the company, so strong interpersonal skills are important.
We also expect you to have:
- A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional proficiency in English.
