About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Backend Python Developer to help design and develop next-generation automated penetration testing frameworks that integrate AI/ML for intelligent threat detection and analysis. You’ll work on scalable, modular systems that push the boundaries of cybersecurity automation.
What You’ll Do
Develop and enhance automated network penetration testing frameworks in Python
Architect modular, scalable systems that evolve with emerging security challenges
Integrate AI/ML capabilities to improve detection and analysis
Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and define best practices
Collaborate with security researchers and DevOps teams on framework deployment and automation
Utilize AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development cycles
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of advanced Python development (asyncio, multiprocessing, performance optimization)
Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS) and vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, CVEs)
Experience building large-scale, modular frameworks or libraries
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and workflows
Excellent communication and mentoring skills
Preferred:
- Extensive experience using Python
Open-source security contributions or research experience
Background in AI/ML for automation or network analysis
Experience with database systems and large-scale data processing
