Are you a Senior Full Stack Engineer looking for an exciting product that’s making real world impact? IDEXX is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our fast-growing ezyVet team.
This role will be hybrid 4 days per week out of our Auckland office.
We’re looking for a senior engineer who’s wanting to level up their experience and start down that leadership pathway. You’ll be hands-on with the tools, delving into complex technical challenges in our appointments and prescriptions space for Vello, whilst also collaborating with our other Vello development teams across Auckland and the US.
What is ezyVet? ezyVet is a cloud based Veterinary Practice Management Software. We provide easy to use Software that helps veterinary practices save time, increase revenue, communicate better with clients and reduce workload stress. We are a premium software product and a part IDEXX’s Veterinary offerings. Pets and tech, it’s a winning combo!

Lead from the front, demonstrating your experience by delivering features, showcasing engineering and architectural best practices.
Inspire a culture of accountability and end-to-end ownership of the squad’s product/feature/vision.
Contribute to the evolution of IDEXX’s engineering principles, practices and standards across all squads.
Innovate in key areas, delivering market-leading experiences
Work closely with Product and Practice Leads, collaborating on quality solutions and technical improvements (such as refactoring, scaling and innovating).
Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
Proven technical people influencer
Experienced in evolving culture and process towards better engagement, agility, automated testing, and DevSecOps
Experience with principles and practices related to cloud technologies
Practical knowledge of system and software design
Familiarity with modern web technologies (such as React), and cloud backend technologies (such as Go, Node.js, .NET, Ruby, Java)
Modern software delivery practices like continuous integration
Previous experience in scaled SaaS environment is hugely desirable
Rewarding salary package ($130k-$155k base range) + bonus structure
