Team Integrations develops and maintains reliable ATS integrations that ensure accurate data syncing, maximising Beamery's value. Currently, we are expanding the set of features our ATS integrations support.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AT BEAMERYWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help our core Integrations services and APIs evolve and scale. This includes supporting new feature development, accommodating varied customer needs, and handling increased traffic. You will:
🚀 Design, develop, and take ownership of complex, scalable software systems and features, ensuring high standards of quality, maintainability, and extensibility for multi-person projects.
🚀 Drive best practices in operational excellence, ensuring adherence to non-functional requirements (NFRs) by leading initiatives, developing testing strategies, and fostering team-wide understanding of compliance and risk.
🚀 Lead agile ceremonies, architecture discussions, and technical roadmap planning, enabling frequent, valuable iterations and promoting a feedback-driven culture.
🚀 Plan and execute cross-team projects and strategic technical initiatives by managing dependencies, defining API contracts, and aligning team output with broader business and tech goals.
🚀 Actively mentor teammates, foster a culture of knowledge sharing (e.g., presentations, workshops), and contribute to onboarding and ongoing technical growth.
🚀 Own and drive multiple quarterly goals from ideation to impact, ensuring your team's work enables others and aligns with business strategy.
🚀 Lead by example in incident management, engineering culture initiatives, interview processes, and creating an inclusive, collaborative team environment.
🚀 Apply deep architectural knowledge to guide improvements, manage deprecation efforts, and handle complexity across the wider systems ecosystem.
🚀 Strong experience building and operating systems that move data from various sources into databases or data warehouses
🚀 Proficient in Node.js (TypeScript)
🚀 Experienced with containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud technologies like Storage Buckets and Cloud Functions
🚀 Familiar with Kafka or other event streaming platforms; experienced with processing large volumes of data
🚀 Deep understanding of both NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) and SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
🚀 Experience using observability tools such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
🚀 A curious mindset that seeks to understand the “why” before jumping into the “how”
🚀 A proactive team player dedicated to continuous improvement
