The Engineering team at Vonage is a fast growing group of talented engineers. They face multiple challenges associated with high performance, distributed systems, and processing large volumes of data in real time.
We are looking for a Software Engineer to help us develop a best in class real time platform for the Network APIs like Quality On Demand (QOD), Silent Authentication or Sim Swap.
Your key responsibilities
- Build systems to add features across our Network API Platform
- Create scalable microservices that will help support our impressive growth
- Write efficient and scalable code, in well-tested systems
- Develop on a public cloud infrastructure

- Java/Kotlin with Micronaut
- AWS
- Redis, DynamoDB
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Anything needed to achieve our goals
What you'll bring

Strong proficiency in Java and software engineering principles.

Practical experience with high-performance, distributed computing systems.

Expertise in Object-Oriented Design and design patterns.

Experience with multi-threaded architectures, web services, and caching.

Familiarity with event-driven pipelines and modern deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.

Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and a willingness to learn new technologies.
