You will be part of the Jira Cloud team, dedicated to identifying and resolving critical performance issues that hinder the migration of major customers to Jira Cloud. The team ensures that Jira Cloud fulfils the performance requirements of future users by conducting meticulous load and stress tests. It investigates performance bottlenecks and devises optimal solutions to address them. Your role will involve leveraging your expertise in Java, SQL, and databases to push boundaries and ensure Jira Cloud meets the performance needs of the most demanding customers.
Collaborating closely with Jira subject matter experts, you will gain insights into performance issues and recommend effective solutions through in-depth performance tuning, experimentation, and an iterative approach. You will continuously explore innovative ideas to enhance product scalability, refine system design, optimise data models and access patterns, tackle complex performance challenges, and make data-informed decisions based on measurable outcomes.
Furthermore, our team provides support to customers before and after their migration to Jira Cloud. With millions of users worldwide relying on the Jira product, this role offers you the chance to make a significant impact, empowering every team to unleash their full potential.
