Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Build next-gen scalable monitoring and alerting systems and tools. Improve auto-remediation in telemetry infrastructure. Identify and contribute to solutions for reducing services outages, reducing alert noise, improving monitoring, and helping the services reach Service Level Objectives (SLOs). Define best practices around making systems and services measurable while working with the Application Engineering teams to get the best practices applied. Share on-call rotation to assess complex problems in real-time across any of our high traffic software systems. Work with highly distributed and diverse hardware, software, and networking teams throughout the company. ˆAbove address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 1621 North 34th Street, Seattle, WA 98103, 744 N. 34th Street, Seattle, WA 98103, 1000 N. Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98103, and 400 Urban Plaza, Suite 700 Kirkland, WA 98033. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python; (2) Golang; (3) Node.js; (4) Java; (5) Data Structures; (6) Algorithms; (7) Azure; (8) Mongo DB; and (9) Spring Boot. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Salary: $163,862.00 - $235,000.00 per annum.
