Summary of This Role

Works throughout the software development life cycle and performs in a utility capacity to create, design, code, debug, maintain, test, implement and validate applications with a broad understanding of a variety of languages and architectures.  Analyzes existing applications or formulate logic for new applications, procedures, flowcharting, coding and debugging programs.  Maintains and utilizes application and programming documents in the development of code.  Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.  Creates appropriate deliverables and develops application implementation plans throughout the life cycle in a flexible development environment.

What Part Will You Play?

• Develops basic to moderately complex code  using a front or back end programming language within a platform as needed in collaboration with business and technology teams for internal and external client software solutions.  Creates, and delivers routine program specifications for code development and support on a project /issue with a moderate understanding of the application / database to better align interactions and technologies.
• Analyzes, modifies, and develops basic to moderately complex code / unit testing in order to develop application documentation.  Performs testing and validation requirements for basic to moderately complex code changes. Performs corrective measures for basic to moderately complex code deficiencies and escalates alternative proposals.
• Applies a moderate understanding of procedures, methodology and application standards to include Payment Card Industry (PCI) security compliance.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?Minimum Qualifications

• Design and develop business UI applications developed in ASP.Net, JQuery and/or Angular

• Design and develop business backend applications developed in C# as services, RESTFul APIs,  or WCF APIs

• Design and develop business application that run on Windows as services and applications

• Full-Stack development for Web and PC based applications

• Apply PCI, OWASP and security industry best practices towards application development.

• Implement common design patterns 

• Lead and mentor other software developers of the team in the US, India and Philippines.

• Work within an Agile project methodology and collaborate well with team members.

• Work within aggressive project deadlines.

• Take ownership of unit testing and the quality/security of code developed.

• Provide technical subject matter expertise (SME), knowledge and recommendations to inform leadership decisions.

• Function as the second level of support for Certification/Production environment issues by being able to troubleshoot and provide the necessary solution.

• Participate in design and planning sessions.

• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies

• Escalate issues and project risks timely to the Product Owner or SCRUM master

• Ensure enterprise security policy compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field required.

• 5-8 years of professional software development

• 5+ years of C#, .NET, Windows Web-based application development experience

• 2+ HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, JQuery, Javascript, other UI frameworks and MS SQL 

• 2+ years working within an Agile development environment

• Strong understanding of OOAD Principles like SOLID and Onion Architecture

• Continuous integration technologies experienced with TeamCity is preferred.

• Experience in Agile methodology and working in Sprints is a plus

• Knowledge on Google cloud services is a plus

• Socket programming

• Multi-threaded Windows Applications

• Source control management experience using Git, Github or Azure Git

• Working with Fortify on demand or other static analysis tools (SAST) or SCA

• Working with Dynamic analysis tools like burp(DAST)

• Ability to learn and absorb new technologies as needed.

• Ability to multitask effectively

• Ability to influence others and work in a matrixed environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Highly detail oriented

• Excellent communication skills in English, including both writing and speaking

• Ability to plan a project for yourself and others so that all milestones are met or exceeded

• Git experience a plus

• Agile Central/Rally experience a plus

• Angular and Java experience desirable

• Experience developing an application for a high throughput & high performance.
