About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java and React to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, and best practices.
This individual will play a key role in the development and enhancement of our products, contributing to the full software development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
Your Area of Focus
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and React technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver robust software solutions that meet business objectives.
- Participate in architectural design discussions and provide recommendations for improving system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development, and incorporate these insights into our development processes.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills.
- Contribute to code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
Your Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and React.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to evolving requirements.
- Experience with modern software development tools and practices, such as version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., Spring Framework) and relational databases (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) is a plus.
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development, with a commitment to staying current on industry trends and advancements.

Remote Pay Range
$150,000—$170,000 USD
