Job summary
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a quality engineering role with an automation-first mindset.
Leadership expectation: AI savvy , dev oriented QA engineer who thinks automation first. This person will work across E-commerce microservices, Subscription, Reports (Elastic Search), and lead high-impact testing across integration, QA automation, load, and performance dimensions.
What you will do
- Build and evolve an automation-first testing strategy across microservices.
- Design and maintain automated coverage for API, integration, regression, load, and performance testing.
- Perform code analysis to identify impact areas before release and during incidents.
- Suggest likely fix areas to engineering teams based on defect patterns and runtime behavior.
- Partner closely with developers to shift quality left in CI/CD.
- Improve release quality by implementing proactive quality gates and measurable reliability checks.
- Drive innovation in testing approaches, including AI-savvy test design and test optimization.
- Support critical business flows in CC, TIPS/Reports, and E-commerce platforms.
What you will have
- 7+ years in Software Engineering / SDET / QE roles.
- Strong programming skills (Cypress/Selenium/Playwright, JavaScript, Python, Java are preferred).
- Proven developer-oriented QA experience in service-based or microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with:
- AI and Agentic AI work flow
- QA automation for UI and API flows
- Integration testing
- Load testing
- Performance testing
- QA test plan, test strategy, test case execution
- Strong code analysis capability to identify impact scope and probable fix areas.
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong ownership, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
