Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BI Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team.
- The ideal candidate will have expertise in Tableau, Qlik, and SQL to develop data-driven insights and solutions that support business strategies.
- This role will focus on building and maintaining robust BI solutions that empower business stakeholders to make data-informed decisions.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience as a BI Engineer or in a related role.
- Proficiency in Tableau (creating dashboards, reports, calculated fields, and advanced visualizations).
- Proficiency in Qlik (QlikView/Qlik Sense for building reports, dashboards, and data models).
- Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions using Tableau and Qlik to create insightful, visually appealing dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into effective data visualizations.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Automate data extraction and reporting processes using SQL and other tools to increase operational efficiency.
- Optimize dashboards and reports for performance, ensuring quick load times and efficient data refreshes.
- Data modeling and analysis: Create efficient data models that support self-service BI tools and dashboards.
- Maintain and enhance existing BI platforms, ensuring the scalability and security of the solutions.
- Work closely with data engineers to define and implement data pipelines and integrations.
- Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions for data integrity and consistency.
- Stay updated with the latest BI trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in our BI processes.
