Primary Responsibilities:
- Play a key customer-facing role in Salesforce.com implementation and enhancement projects involving analysis, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of Salesforce CRM solutions
- Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, Triggers, Flows, and Process Automation
- Participate in customer discussions and requirement gathering sessions to understand business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions and functional specifications
- Design, build, and maintain Salesforce configurations including custom objects, validation rules, workflows, approval processes, reports, dashboards, profiles, permission sets, and page layouts
- Develop integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, middleware tools, and third-party applications
- Follow Agile and Waterfall methodologies for project execution and actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release activities
- Prepare and maintain technical design documents, code documentation, deployment plans, and other project artifacts following Salesforce best practices and coding standards
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure high-quality and defect-free deliverables
- Support deployment activities using Change Sets, DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Git, ANT, or Salesforce DX
- Analyze and resolve production issues, troubleshoot system defects, and provide timely fixes and enhancements
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, QA teams, Architects, Administrators, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, discuss technical feasibility, and ensure successful delivery
- Optimize Salesforce application performance, security, scalability, and maintainability by adhering to Salesforce governor limits and platform best practices
- Work on various development areas including custom development, automation, integrations, Lightning development, data migration, and API implementations
- Stay updated with new Salesforce releases, features, and emerging technologies to continuously improve application capabilities and development practices
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security guidelines, and Salesforce governance policies throughout the development lifecycle
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in Software Development with 3+ years of relevant Salesforce development experience
- Solid hands-on experience in Salesforce configuration and customization
- Solid experience in Salesforce Lightning development including Aura Components and LWC framework
- Experience in Salesforce declarative development tools such as Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, and Reports & Dashboards
- Experience in Salesforce integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, third-party integrations, and middleware tools
- Experience in developing and consuming APIs, web services, and asynchronous processing
- Experience in requirement elicitation, technical analysis, solution design, and effort estimation
- Hands-on experience working on Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud applications and implementing business-specific customizations
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience/Community Cloud
- Knowledge of Salesforce deployment and release management tools such as Change Sets, Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD, or DevOps processes
- Good understanding of Salesforce standard objects and hands-on experience in designing and developing custom objects, custom fields, relationships, and page layouts
- Good understanding of Salesforce Security and Sharing Model including Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, Sharing Rules, and Field Level Security
- Solid understanding of Salesforce governor limits, platform best practices, and optimization techniques
- Proficiency in Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Proven solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven good communication and stakeholder coordination skills with the ability to interact with business and technical teams.
