What would your role be?
- Develop internal applications and/or configure commercial off-the-shelf solutions (e.g., Atlassian Jira) to meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency.
- Take ownership of new initiatives, including stakeholder alignment, requirements engineering, solution design, and system architecture, ensuring scalable and sustainable outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and prioritize requirements, acting as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices, processes, and standards.
- Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for software features, processes, and workflows to ensure transparency and usability.
- Act as a trusted partner by troubleshooting and resolving application issues, ensuring stable and reliable operations.
What are we looking for?
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a completed software engineering apprenticeship
- Solid experience with Java/Kotlin and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, showcasing your ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver impactful results
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and explain technical concepts clearly
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools, particularly in configuring and operating Jira and/or willingness to develop such skills
- A growth mindset: You’re eager to learn, take responsibility, and continuously develop yourself.
- Good communication skills in English (mandatory) and German (highly desirable)
