About the Role:
Our Senior Software Engineer will act as a subject matter expert for the Upgrade Platform team. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to help shape its direction and implement new features. You will be responsible for all technical aspects of the system.
What You'll Do:
- Design and develop complex applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Ensure performance, availability and scalability of core libraries and services.
- Build complex application software using modern continuous integration tools like ArgoCD/JIRA/Git/Jenkins.
- Work closely with various engineering teams to evaluate the effectiveness of our platform and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain best practices for code hygiene and health, including test coverage and deployment.
- Support a robust test framework and architecture, including integration with third parties.
- Investigate and troubleshoot challenging technical issues when needed.
What We Look For:
- Develop and implement new features in our authentication and authorization services.
- Help build and drive the roadmap for the IAM team.
- Strong Java programming knowledge (Golang a plus).
- Experience working in a microservices environment.
- Awareness of the challenges and possible patterns brought up by Kubernetes.
