Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer with 4–8 years of experience in developing cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Distributed Systems. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with transactional databases, cloud platforms (Azure and/or GCP), event-driven architectures, and NoSQL databases.
Responsibilities
· Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable microservices and applications.
· Build REST APIs and event-driven solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
· Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
· Participate in system design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
· Ensure application reliability, security, and scalability in cloud environments.
· Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Agile development processes.
Requirements
Required Skills
· 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
· Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
· Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other transactional databases.
· Hands-on experience with Azure and/or GCP cloud platforms.
· Experience with event streaming/messaging technologies such as Kafka, Azure Event Hub, RabbitMQ, or Google Pub/Sub.
· Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, or Cosmos DB.
· Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
· Strong understanding of distributed systems, REST APIs, and cloud-native architecture.
Must-Have Skills: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Azure/GCP, Kafka/Event Hub/Pub-Sub, NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis), Docker, Kubernetes.
