Job Title: Embedded Engineer II

Location: Bangalore

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software verification Engineer with over 3 years of experience in software testing of software components including Resident Boot, Non-Resident Boot, HW Abstraction Layer, IO Drivers, Compiler Abstraction Layer, etc. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge in C++ programming/verification skills, as well as good experience using emulators and debuggers like ICD or Lauterbach. Candidate also should possess good experience in RTOS (Including DEOS, Linux). Experience in SW Component testing using Vector CAST/Cover, LDRA etc. 



Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, Perform Change Impact Analysis and create/Execute test cases for core platform software components.
  • Perform Requirement Based Testing and Scenario Based Testing based on System/Software Requirements and design documents.
  • Drive and deploy technical initiatives for continuous growth.
  • Resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively on technical aspects and issues within the team and with upstream stakeholders.
  • Experienced in leading technical development activities, guiding lower-level engineers, collaborating with cross functional teams and driving to objectives of quality, cost and schedule.
  • Experienced in managing stakeholders within and outside organization demonstrate ability to identify and propose technical improvements using engineering expertise.
  • Experience in facing technical audits (Verification, AS9100 and customer audits).
  • Passion to explore opportunities and solutions.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech)
  • 3+ years’ experience in software development/systems/software verification with minimum 5 years’ experience in software verification & validation.
  • Strong leadership skills and stake holder management.
  • Strong understanding of software verification methods and tools currently in use as well as in industry standards and direction.
  • Experience in C++ and RTOS programming/verification.
  • Experience with emulators and debuggers like ICD or Lauterbach is an added benefit.
  • Experience DOORS NG, JIRA, Bitbucket
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for exploring opportunities and solutions.
