- Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and technical deliverables across multiple development efforts..
- Contribute to strategic planning activities and help shape long-term technology solutions and engineering roadmaps.
- Design, develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain scalable applications, services, APIs, and data-driven solutions.
- Build reusable software components, integration frameworks, and automation capabilities that improve operational efficiency.
- Evaluate technical challenges and recommend solutions based on software engineering best practices, architecture standards, and business requirements.
- Resolve complex technical issues while ensuring reliability, performance, maintainability, and security of delivered solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product owners, and technology partners to deliver high-quality technology solutions.
- Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making processes.
- Drive engineering excellence through automated testing, software quality practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead projects and serve as a technical escalation point while mentoring and guiding less experienced engineers.
- Support observability, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support activities to ensure application stability and operational effectiveness.

- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ experience developing applications using JavaScript and Python
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices
- Experience with source control, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with containerized applications and cloud-native architectures
- Experience building analytical, reporting, observability, or telemetry-driven solutions
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, application architecture, and secure coding practices
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues
- 4+ years of software engineering experience in large enterprise environments
- Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, or similar container platforms
- Experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems
- Experience designing scalable APIs, services, and backend applications
- Experience with MongoDB, SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar database technologies
- Experience implementing DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, and automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of system resiliency, high availability, and performance optimization
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership across projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Partner effectively across engineering, infrastructure, architecture, security, and business teams
- Maintain high standards for software quality, reliability, security, and operational supportability
- Follow enterprise development standards, architecture guidelines, and compliance requirements
- Contribute to technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and engineering planning activities
