Job Description:
About Role:
Ingram Micro is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the development, optimization, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications across our full stack. In this role, you will be a hands-on technical leader -owning end-to-end features, mentoring mid-level engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build next-generation logistics and platform services.
While working primarily with C#, PostgreSQL, React, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you will also play a key role in stabilizing our critical production support systems, integrating modern AI capabilities.
Your Role: Technical Leadership & Feature Ownership
- Team Mentorship: Lead by example through rigorous code reviews, technical guidance, and onboarding of junior to mid-level engineers within an Agile environment.
- Full-Stack Development: Write clean, maintainable, and highly optimized code across the full stack—developing robust microservices and APIs in C# / .NET, and rich, dynamic frontends using React.
- AI Innovation: Explore and integrate generative AI capabilities using Google Gemini to automate workflows, optimize data intelligence, and enhance user experiences.
- Production Stabilization: Actively participate in stabilizing and optimizing L1 and L3 production support workflows. Troubleshoot complex, high-priority issues across frontends, APIs, and cloud infrastructure to reduce downtime.
- Platform Innovation: Build and enhance self-serve applications, API gateways, and tenant onboarding frameworks that allow independent user management and seamless customer adoption.
- DevOps & Cloud Practices: Leverage GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud SQL, Cloud Run) and help build/maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and environment monitoring tools.
- Domain Alignment: Apply domain insights into ITAD and reverse logistics workflows to optimize asset lifecycle management platforms.
Architecture & Design: Collaborate with Principal Architects to design and build scalable, multi-tenant enterprise applications, ensuring code quality, security, and high performance.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 to 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record in a senior or aspiring lead capacity.
- Core Full-Stack Tech Stack: Strong, hands-on experience using C# (.NET Core/.NET), PostgreSQL Server, and React.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Practical experience building and deploying cloud-native applications within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- System Reliability: Direct experience troubleshooting live production issues and working closely with L1/L3 support groups to improve system uptime and resolution frameworks.
- Modern Architecture: Understanding of microservices, RESTful API design, multi-tenant patterns, and building self-serve user workflows.
- CI/CD & DevOps: Practical experience with Git-based CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, GitHub Actions, or GCP Cloud Build) and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Pluses: Hands-on experience or familiarity with the Google Gemini API (or other LLMs/Generative AI tooling)
