As an EBANX “Senior Software Engineer - Microsoft Power Platform,” you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and leading the Center of Excellence (CoE) for the Microsoft Power Platform at EBANX.
  • Developing and overseeing the development of applications with internal teams and external partners.
  • Creating and managing a demand management process with the Project Management team to analyze, prioritize, and convert demands into projects.
  • Automating business processes and integrating them with other applications such as SAP, ADP, ServiceNow and more.
  • Managing resources and licenses, monitoring platform costs, and ensuring a positive return on investment.
  • Organizing the operation and support of developed applications.
  • Ensuring the development of secure applications in line with company standards.
  • Upholding and promoting the company's software engineering culture, principles, and best practices.
  • Collaborating with other IT Ops teams (Cloud Ops, Security, Corporate IT, IT Business Applications) and client teams (e.g., People, Finance, Legal).
  • Gaining a deep understanding of the business and back-office operations.

Essential qualifications:

  • Experience in Power Platform administration.
  • Proficiency with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Experience in integrating Power Platform with other services (directly or via APIs).
  • Microsoft Dataverse experience.
  • Knowledge of the application development lifecycle.
  • Strong awareness of security and privacy principles.
  • Proficiency in English, with solid technical reading, writing, and listening skills. Conversational fluency is desirable and can be developed.
  • A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Strong judgment, holistic understanding of problems and situations.
  • Orientation towards problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Full English proficiency, including excellent technical reading, writing, and listening skills, and conversational fluency.
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Experience in business applications such as ERP, CRM, ITSM and HRMS.
  • Background in IT infrastructure and network services.
  • Experience with automation and RPA tools.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience in budget and cost management.
  • Proven experience managing a CoE for the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Security and privacy expertise.
  • Familiarity with SQL/relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience in full-code development, including creating and consuming applications/APIs.
  • Relevant certifications in:
    • Power Platform
    • Azure, AWS and Google Cloud
    • AI-related technologies
    • Project management (Agile and/or Waterfall)
