Overview
The Confluence Mobile team is looking for an Android mobile developer familiar with React Native to help us unlock Confluence and team productivity on mobile devices. You'll build and maintain the Confluence app at Atlassian. You will collaborate with design to develop new features and work flows in the Confluence Mobile app, and verify their impact and usability.
To help our team you can be fully remote, working from anywhere but we require you to be located in the Pacific, Mountain or Central timezones to make collaboration online easier.
As an engineer within this team you will be responsible for feature development as well as delivering, with the team regular releases of our app. As a team we're customer focussed, building experiences and picking technologies to empower our users and we have a mix of Kotlin + React Native in our tech stack.
Responsibilities

• Build high quality features, and infrastructure that is fast, testable, and scalable
• Drive strong collaboration with other engineers, designers and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on great solutions
• Contribute to code reviews and documentation, and take on complex bug fixes
• Lead projects, from the technical design, implementation and launch to operation
• Onboard and mentor junior engineers

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in Android and React Native development with Katlin, Compose and experience with React Native as well as iOS is a strong plus.
• Bachelor's degree (preferably a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience).
• Understanding of modern mobile software development, including testing, tool development, the release process and monitoring. Experience with releasing with experimentation a plus.
• Experience building mobile applications at scale.
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies in a high velocity environment.
• Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity.

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $176,400 - $230,300
Zone B: $159,300 - $207,975
Zone C: $146,700 - $191,525
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
