About the jobBuild the AI compute libraries that unlock performance on next-generation hardware.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build high-performance AI compute libraries for Graphcore’s next generation of AI hardware. Your work will sit close to the machine, where numerical correctness, throughput and latency all matter.
You will design and implement kernels for linear algebra and tensor operations, including GEMM, convolutions and reductions. You will own performance and correctness through microbenchmarks, regression tests and numerics validation.
You will profile and optimise across threading, cache locality, memory layout and kernel launch efficiency. You will also improve product quality by debugging issues and resolving bugs.
This is a role for someone who wants to shape the software layer that helps customers get more from AI hardware.
The team and cultureOur ML Kernels & Runtime team builds the compute libraries that help customers gain maximum performance from AI hardware. The work is practical, technical and close to the systems that define real-world performance.
You will work in an expanding team where engineers take ownership, move quickly and solve problems with evidence. Decisions are shaped through profiling, testing, technical discussion and a shared focus on quality.
You will contribute through design, implementation, debugging and mentoring. You will also support Agile ways of working, helping the team keep momentum while raising the standard of the product.
