Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with engineering teams to design, build and operate resilient cloud-native platform services
- Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and cloud-native services
- Engineer and operate Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms, service mesh, ingress, secrets and platform networking
- Build and enhance CI/CD and GitOps workflows using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or ArgoCD
- Implement observability using metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, SLOs, SLIs and error budgets
- Drive platform reliability, scalability, security, compliance and cost optimization
- Automate operational workflows and eliminate manual toil using Python, Go or Bash
- Lead production incident response, root cause analysis and preventive engineering improvements
- Review code, mentor engineers and contribute to platform engineering standards
- Influence technical direction for platform reliability, operational excellence and developer experience
- Mentor junior engineers

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, machine Learning, or related field or equivalent certification
- 6+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering or Software Engineering
- Hands-on Kubernetes/OpenShift and container ecosystem experience
- Experience with AWS, Azure and/or GCP
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible or Infrastructure as Code
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, Datadog, Dynatrace)
- Experience with incident management, production support and operational excellence
- Solid Linux, networking and distributed systems fundamentals
- Programming proficiency in Python, Go, Java or similar
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP)
- Experience implementing GitOps with ArgoCD or Flux
- Experience with platform security, policy-as-code and FinOps
- Healthcare or regulated industry experience
