- Work on an application distributed across multiple data centers, built on microservices architecture with Apache Kafka for synchronous replication.
- Use proven technologies such as Java, Apache Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift to deliver 24/7 availability and resiliency.
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Design, develop, test (including automated unit and integration tests), and support cloud-native applications following DevOps and DevSecOps best practices.
- Contribute to design and technical decisions, and for senior profiles, provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders across different functions, including product owners, product managers, business analysts, architects, and operations.
- Contribute to integration and automated testing efforts.
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Occasionally assist with deployment activities and configuration changes in production.
- Help resolve issues reported by customers or internal teams, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Software Engineer: Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Senior Software Engineer: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills – vocal and proactive in discussions.
- Collaborative mindset – embrace and enhance the squad way of working.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to execute complex workstreams independently with minimal supervision.
- Autonomous and adaptable – comfortable with change and technical challenges.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Strong knowledge of Java and experience in backend development using Java and its ecosystem.
- Familiarity with Linux OS (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Understanding of event-driven architectures and Apache Kafka.
- Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
- SWIFT Alliance products (Alliance Access, Alliance Gateway, Swiftnet Link) knowledge/experience.
- SWIFT messaging formats knowledge/experience.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures and running distributed systems.
